This guided “on the water” custom designed tutorial is based on your skill level.  First time fly fishers are one of my specialities. Father/son, entire families and many retirees make up the bulk of these trips. For kids I keep it active, simple and fun. I used to write “Bill Nye the Science Guy” scripts so I do my best imitation of his kind of educational humor.

 

In one day I cover all the basics, including which kind of rods, reels, wading gear to use. You’ll learn how to cast, read the water and get an overview of which flies are likely to catch fish in a given situation. I believe fly fishing can be an easy, accessible, incredibly fun way to enjoy a day on the river.
